    50+ Events

    The EMCCC enjoyed a very busy calendar of events in 2016 hosting over 50 events/year.  Click here to view our 2017 calendar.  

    12 Ribbon Cuttings 

    The EMCCC was excited to assist 12 new businesses celebrate their grand openings in 2016 with the chamber’s giant scissors making for unique and beautiful photo ops to be shared with the community. 

    12 Member Spotlights 

    Once a month a member is randomly selected to be featured on our homepage for the entire month. This offers the member enhanced visibility and the opportunity for visitors to learn more about what makes them unique and special. 

    6 New Events were added to the EMCCC calendar in 2016

    Leadercast Montgomery County is the largest one day leadership conference in the world. The EMCCC was proud to host this amazing event at the Movie Tavern in Flourtown filling two theatres with almost 200 attendees in the first year.  Be sure to be a part of Leadercast 2017 on May 5, 2017.

    Network at Noon: The EMCCC hosted four network at noon events in 2016 where members enjoyed lunch and the chance to share their business commercial with all.  Attendees receive a spreadsheet after the event including contact information so they can follow up with those they wish to connect with. 

    Speaker’s Forum:  A Speaker’s Forum featuring John Fry (President of Drexel University) and George Oliphant (Star of NBC’s George to the Rescue) attracted over 100 guests to learn about the exciting progress and plans being made to develop Philadelphia into a “Next Generation Innovation Community”. Plans are currently underway for our 2017 Speaker’s Forum to be held in October of 2017.

    Website growth: The EMCCC website continues to increase the number of visitors every month. During 2016 there were 7,373 average monthly page views.  Visit our website regularly to keep up to date on happenings throughout eastern Montgomery County.   

    Online business directory:  Members enjoy the opportunity to promote themselves and their business in the EMCCC online business directory.  You can search by category or name to find any of our members.  Each member’s business location can be found via google maps as well as contact information, pictures, videos, and much more.
