The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce was pleased to present three outstanding local high school seniors a $1000 scholarship to the college of their choice. The scholarships were presented to the students at the Chamber’s Annual Business & Community Awards Celebration, “EMCCC Idols” held on May 19 at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club. Students were selected based on a combination of their academic, business, and community service achievements. This scholarship is named in honor of a Past Chamber President, Donald Neiman, to further the education of local students pursuing careers in business. The Chamber plans to make these scholarships available on an annual basis. Schools in eastern Montgomery County are encouraged to promote students to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Applications will be available for next year in March, 2011.
