LMC Program Director: Ray Wells, PhD Ray Wells is the president of Wellbeing Systems, Inc. (WSI), of Abington, and the Program Director for the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Montgomery County. WSI is a training and consulting firm that uses a strengths-based approach for coaching and in designing leadership, team and organization development programs for its clients. This approach, which focuses on accentuating and building on "who we are when we are at our best," has helped the firm capture the energy and professional passion of the people it serves. Over the past 21 years, WSI has served nearly 100 non-profit, business, and education clients in organizations ranging from just a dozen people to the Fortune 500, from the smallest private schools to the Ivy League, from single-office non-profit agencies to the largest corporate health systems. Regionally, WSI has served Abington Memorial Hospital, Air Products and Chemicals, Briar Bush Nature Center, Byers’ Choice, Capital Health System, Delaware County Community College, Doylestown Hospital, Drexel University, FMC Corporation, Grenald Waldron Associates, Inroads, Johnson and Johnson, Manor College, McCollister’s Transportation, the Naval Sea Logistics Center, North Penn United Way, Penn State Abington, Penn State University, Princeton University, St. Lawrence Cement, St. Mary Medical Center, Streamliners, Inc. and Time Warner Cable Systems. In addition to his work with EMCCC’s Leadership Montgomery County, Ray’s other primary leadership education and development responsibility is through his ongoing work serving on both the residential and international faculty for the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). FAIMER Institutes serve medical school faculty from developing countries in South America, Africa and Asia who have the potential to play a key role in improving medical education in their schools. Ray is also a co-owner of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Consulting, LLC which offers a collaborative, strengths-based approach to strategic change and transformation. A principle-driven organization that values integrity, learning, generosity, and the common good, its consultants seek to enhance the core strengths of an organization while growing the organization’s economic vitality and internal health. AI Consulting has the greatest single concentration of AI expertise with consultants spanning the globe. Ray earned his Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University (OH) in adult development and his Ph.D. in applied social-psychology from Temple University.
